"Beatitudes 1" - The Beatitudes are eight beautiful invitations from Jesus that reveal the heart of His Kingdom. They describe the kind of life that flourishes under God's reign-not because it is free from hardship, but because it is rooted in His presence, grace, and eternal promises.
The Beatitudes aren't simply "eight blessings" - they are His portrait and the portrait of a disciple.
Being such a rich subject, we will study 4 of the Beatitudes in this 10th Faith Notes series kit and 4 in the following one.
As a visual aid to this study, I decided to use images of birds. The birds carry with them great symbolism, and besides the fact that birds are such a beautiful subject, I remembered a few amazing folk tales from my childhood in connection to some of the birds that are such a wonderful hint to the Beatitudes.
