Approximately 6 months ago, I was introduced to Bible Journaling. Overwhelmed, and not knowing where to begin, I subscribed to every monthly Bible Journaling Subscription that I could locate. Week after week, I received stickers, rub-ons, napkins and so on. I was very dissatisfied with the quality of most of the items I received. Prices varied from retailer to retailer, but the quality was consistent—very poor with most of the items being hardly more than clip art. I am a serious mixed media artist. Six months later, I have cancelled every subscription except my subscription to Open Journey (and to 2 others that are exclusively digital downloads only.) I look forward to receiving my TAKE 4 kit every month and regularly purchase the Add-ons. This is art worthy to go into my Bible. I am more than pleased with the quality. I do not discard ANYTHING that I receive from Open Journey. Using a hair dryer, I carefully remove the tape that seals the box because it is hand drawn washi tape that I can reuse. I do the same with the stickers that seal the envelopes that contain my die cuts, etc. I gently unwrap the products because they arrive wrapped in hand stamped tissue paper that I utilize for decoupage.
