he 6th Faith Notes series kit, centered on Light, explores the luminous beauty of the Easter season and the rich meaning behind being “salt and light” in the Sermon on the Mount from Matthew 5.

The artwork for this kit brings together a variety of mediums from watercolor, acrylics,  ink drawings to digitally drawn artwork and photography.

The florals in this collection remind us of the season of renewal before us and of the luminous mystery of the Risen Christ. They point to the deep hope we are given through the Resurrection—hope that rises and lifts our hearts toward heaven.

I especially love the hollyhocks; their tall stems feel like hope ascending, like prayers and thoughts stretching upward toward God. Their height always inspires me to see them as a quiet symbol of hearts lifted heavenward. Alongside them are daffodils and cherry blossoms—flowers that echo the spirit of the season. Daffodils symbolize new beginnings, renewal, and resurrection, while cherry blossoms remind us of the fleeting beauty of life and the preciousness of each moment, inviting us to cherish the grace present in every season.
