Faith Notes - LENT-TRUST
"LENT-TRUST" -a beautiful easing into our Lenten Journey focusing on the topic of Trust. Besides the devotional, there are daily assigned verses for the pre-Lent period centered on Trust. Throughout the devotional, key truths about trust are woven into the Lenten path: trust is awakened in uncertainty; trust is relational rather than informational; and trust grows when the future is entrusted to God instead of explained. Together, these reflections invite a deeper surrender as we begin the holy journey toward Easter.
The artwork for this kit brings together a variety of mediums from watercolor and ink drawings to digitally drawn artwork and photography. The messy feel of some of the mixed media artworks contrasts with the smoothness of other mediums which to me reflects the contrast between our anguish, daily problems and how we are being drawn to peace in Christ.

The original artwork that accompanies the devotional and kit is meant to be used in your journaling, offering a visual aid to your meditations. It comes in the form of stickers and printed images on card stock, along with stamp sets and other add-ons which are separate additions to this kit.
