Take4 - HOLY WEEK
The 10th issue of the Take 4 series "HOLY WEEK" focuses on the events of the Holy Week, starting with the Saturday before Palm Sunday up to Easter Sunday, including the Road to Emmaus account. The devotional for each of the 10 days is presented in a newsprint style with resounding headlines of the amazing events which are truly newsworthy.
The artwork for this devotional has a simple but solemn style, echoing the weight of the events. Some of the illustrations are simple black and white silhouettes but we also have beautiful botanicals: palm branches and spikenard flowers. The devotional booklet does not have room for journaling because of the large devotional content. Although included are envelopes to place your journaling pages in, as "letters to the Editor".
There is a 10 day structure for this issue.
You can add a 12 page journaling pack, containing blank pages with headlines for each day printed on beautiful handmade paper - available in shop as an add-on to this kit.

The original artwork, from acrylic and watercolor paintings, photography, drawings and various mixed media techniques, accompanies the devotional to be used in your journaling, offering a visual aid to your meditations. It comes in the form of stickers and printed images on card stock, along with stamp sets and stencils which are separate additions to this kit. The association of the typewriter and flowers imagery hints to the Life giving qualities of the Word of God, and so are all the floral and botanical elements. The contents of the kit:
