During Holy Week we have the meditations on the Stations of the Cross or Way of the Cross (Via Crucis). After Easter Sunday we focus on the Resurrection and the Luminous events that followed, leading to Pentecost, meditating on the Stations of the Light or The Way of the Light (Via Lucis) I would love to propose a similar structured set of meditations for the Advent and Christmas seasons: The Stations of the Dawn.
In Latin we would call them: Via Aurorae, the Way of Dawn. Similar to the Way of the Cross and The Way of the Light - the Way of Dawn observes not 14, but 15 stations, all amazing prophecies, events and fulfillments starting with Genesis and ending with the Book of Revelation.
Each Station provides a Scripture reading, a reflection and short prayer. May meditating on these beautiful stations, fill you with His Light.
