Inspired from the above Psalm, I painted this artwork for the creative Bible study kit "Beautiful Light ".
Carrying a double meaning, The oil lamp reminds us that the Word of God is truly a light for our lives and also faith and prayer are the fuel for our light, just like olive oil is fuel for the lamp. Just as olive oil is obtained by crushing olives, Jesus brings light to our eternal existence by being Himself crushed for us.
The original artwork is an acrylic painting on wood panel, measuring 12x12 inches. Sides are finished in white. Ready to hang.
